Low power long range LoRaWAN device targeting sub-1uA sleep current with fast wake up and modern Rust based firmware
P-DOT is my take on an exceedingly low power, long range LoRaWAN device. The hardware runs on a STM32L471 talking to a 915MHz LLCC68 radio, and the firmware is written in Rust using the Embassy async framework with lora-rs for the LoRaWAN stack. The whole design targets a sub-1uA sleep current with fast wake up, hopefully taking the crown as the successor to older mDot style modules. The first run of boards is in hand and I am working on proving the design out; if everything goes well I want to turn it into my own adafruit-style company selling boards of my own making
